With the aim of promoting Pipers' students' incredible creative talents to the wider community, the Art Department entered several pieces of artwork from different A Level student artists, comprising of fine art, sculpture, textiles and mixed-media into the Buckinghamshire Arts Society Young Artist Award 2023 competition.

We are delighted to announce that three pieces of artwork have been selected to go through to the next stage of the competition. Congratulations to Millie McC, Ellie W and Anastasiya K. This means that these pieces of work will be displayed at the Buckinghamshire Community Centre in Buckingham, in an exhibition celebrating the talents of young artists from the county.

The exhibition will be open between 1000 hours - 1800 hours on Saturday 21 October and 1000 hours - 1600 hours on Sunday 22 October. The private view and final decision of which student's work will become the overall Bucks Young Artist Award winner will take place on Saturday between 1300 - 1500 hours.

Good luck to the three students who have had their work selected, and well done to all of our students who had pieces submitted for the competition, which you can see here:
