Pipers Student Shortlisted for National Poetry Competition

Zoe P  (Year 8) was shortlisted for the finals of the Armistice 100 Poetry competition run by the University of Lincoln. Head judge and Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy spoke highly of those children shortlisted, commending their poems as we as a nation mark 100 years since the end of the First World War. 

Zoe’s poem, along with the other finalists will feature in the Anthology of Poems.
