Year 7 Adventure!

Year 7 enjoyed a fantastic team building day at Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre last week. The day is designed to develop teamwork skills and build upon firm new friendships already taking shape. 

The students participated in a number of activities including raft building, where many intrepid builders also chose to jump into the lake just for fun! Other events featured Pedal Kart races, a Commando Challenge, Archery and the Low Ropes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their day. The students also witnessed first-hand some of the protests and tree felling relating to HS2.  Many were moved enough to contact Mr Williams (Pipers Corner’s Environmentalist-in-Residence) on their return to discuss their thoughts and concerns. Given how new many of the students are to the school, it was clear to see what great ambassadors they are and how embedded they are already in our community.
