This term, the Pipers Prefect team have launched their initiative of 'Looking Outwards' with the aim to encourage students to make a difference in the local community.

To achieve this, the Prefect team will be looking at making connections outside of the Pipers community with places such as care homes, hospitals and charities. The first project will be to compile hampers of Christmas gifts for the local care homes Porthaven in Farnham and Aylesbury, which is particularly important in the current climate.

The team are asking students from each house to bring in different gifts from Wednesday 2 December to Friday 4 December, this way they can put together hampers for the 126 people in these care homes.

  • Mandeville | Chocolates
  • Milton | Biscuits
  • Hampden and Penn | Toiletry items for men and women

Students can also donate to a special present and card to go to an individual in the care home.

To further integrate our school with these homes they will be sending them a recording of our virtual carol concert, sharing our annual magical celebration of Christmas and festive spirit which will have spectacular performances, carol singing and traditional readings.
